Lavender and Dogwoods
Painted on a 9.25" plate, marked "Made in Germany" and is signed - Marie Morris, 1959. While the plate's manufacturer is blacked out, we have been able to read through the mark on a similar plate to find the name Arzberg - a well known porcelain maker.
The picture is a blend of lavender and dogwoods on a soft background with a beige band. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

Pink Roses
Painted on a 9.25" plate, marked "Made in Germany" and is signed - Marie Morris, 1959. While the plate's manufacturer is blacked out, we have been able to read through the mark on a similar plate to find the name Arzberg - a well known porcelain maker.

Orange Poppies
Painted on an 8" plate, this piece is signed Sommer, The first name is there, but we are unable to determine what it is and it is not dated. All of the pieces shown here came from the same collection so we are fairly confident that they were all painted around the same 1950s - 1960s time frame.
The picture is of bright reddish orange poppies on a light green background with a wide gold band and gold rim. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

Miniature Pink Roses
Painted on a 7 3/4" plate, this piece is signed - Marie Morris, 1960.
The plate depicts miniature pink roses on a gold bordered pale blue band. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

Raspberries
This is a 6" lemon server with a gold handle and gold rim signed - Marie Morris and dated 1956. This piece has no manufacturer's mark, but is yet another fine example of American china painting.
The tray is painted with raspberries complete with blossoms. There is a blend of yellow to lavender for the background. It's quite lovely. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

Yellow Roses
Painted on a 8 1'4" scalloped plate, this piece is signed - M. Morris but is undated.
The picture is of a pair of dainty yellow roses on a delightful plate which has a very pale blue band around the border. This plate too is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

Forget-Me-Nots Heart Box
This 5 1/2" X 6" heart shaped box has been painted with forget-me-nots and signed, "Hand painted by B. Robertson" and dated 1964.
The outside of the box and the background on the lid are a pale pink and the picture has clusters of fbeautiful blue forget-me-nots. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

Forget-Me-Nots Nappy
This 8 1/2" X 4 1/4" nappy has been painted with forget-me-nots and signed by "M Morris".
The forget-me-nots overlay a pale blue band and are complimented by the blue handle. Ms. Morris used a light yellow wash in the bottom of the nappy to create a soft contrast. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
